PC Basics 103: Managing Your Files
- Description
There's nothing more frustrating then spending hours on a document only to not be able to find it after you close it. UGH!
This is the best course you'll ever take when it comes to learning how files are store on your computer and having some control over it.
Even though these things may sound boring at first, you're going to be thrilled when the light bulb goes off in your head:
- What is the File Explorer and why're you gonna care!
- Navigating that incredible window: The more you understand what it's showing you, the more you'll love it!
- The Importance of Folders and Subfolders and,
- Yes, all those drives (C: and otherwise) you learned about in the first lesson.
You'll then be getting into how to use all this stuff when you're working in MS Word or any other application. They all share the same file folder, aka, File Explorer tool.
Here's what else will prove to be invaluable:
- How to move a file if you accidently put it in the wrong folder.
- How to make copies just in case you don't want to lose your orginal thoughts.
- And again, how to find your work.
